Originally built in the early 1700’s as a tenanted dairy farm on the Rainford Hall Estate, Fenny Bank Cottage is quietly positioned on the South West corner of the estate, surrounded by beautiful fields, woodland, wild game birds and extensive views across the local countryside and St Helen’s beyond.

Located on the estate and within easy walking distance to Rainford Hall, this property benefits from full access with a range of facilities available at the historic Victorian hall, and can be easily and carefully arranged around your unique needs.

Fully refurbished and sympathetically modernised, this cottage offers accommodation for up to 6 people across four bedrooms, and is perfectly designed to enable Steps Together to build the perfect package for our clients, their families or our partner organisations.

Built from traditional stone, the cottage now provides a spacious, homely and cosy retreat, with a host of features including:

  • Self-catering accommodation for small groups of clients in recovery, seeking the perfect retreat to celebrate and connect further during their journey in recovery

  • Fully inclusive recovery retreats, built around your group’s needs and offering a fully serviced programme of accommodation and therapy

  • Discreet, intensive programmes of accommodation and wellbeing therapy for private families, corporate organisations, or specialist interest groups

  • Large living room, with a rustic brick working open fire place, and traditional low wood beamed ceilings

  • Bright spacious dining hallway, with a traditional working open fire place and direct access to the gardens

  • A bright and private snug, with an inglenook fireplace and log burning stove to enjoy those cosy winter nights, or as a great space to simply relax and engage with your therapist

  • Modern large shaker style kitchen, large electric range cooker and built in refrigerator

  • Ground floor WC & shower room

  • Large utility room, with built in washing machine, dryer and dishwasher
